Toledo Fire and Rescue Department will be on campus for the next several weeks to conduct training exercises in International House on The University of Toledo Main Campus.
The exercises got underway on Monday and are scheduled to continue Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Beginning next week, fire crews will be on campus Monday through Thursday.
Fire engines will be parked outside International House during the training exercises and members of the campus community may see strobe lights or simulated smoke inside the building.
International House, which was built in 1994, is not currently in active use by the University.
Toledo Fire is expected to continue the training exercises through April.
