The University of Toledo unveiled its 2025 football schedule today with a home slate that includes five Saturday games, including three contests in the Glass Bowl in the month of September.

The Rockets open the season at SEC foe Kentucky on Aug. 30 before returning to Toledo for their home opener, “The Biggest Party in Toledo,” vs. Western Kentucky on Sept. 6. Contests vs. Morgan State (Sept. 13) and the Homecoming game vs. Akron (Sept. 27) round out action in the Glass Bowl in September.

Toledo’s remaining three home games are vs. Kent State (Oct. 18), a mid-week game vs. Northern Illinois (Wednesday, Nov. 5) and a clash with Ball State on the Saturday before Thanksgiving (Nov. 22).

The Rockets’ final non-conference road game is at Washington State on Oct. 25. Toledo also will play MAC games at Western Michigan (Sept. 20), Bowling Green (Oct. 11), Miami (Wednesday, Nov. 12) and Central Michigan (Nov. 29).

The Rockets return four All-MAC players from last season’s 8-5 squad, plus senior quarterback Tucker Gleason, who threw for 2,808 yards and 24 TDs last season. Gleason’s top target was first-team All-MAC wide receiver Junior Vandeross, who led Toledo with 85 receptions last year. Vandeross also was named the GameAbove Sports Bowl MVP following a 12-reception and 194-yard performance in the Rockets’ 48-46 six-overtime win vs. Pitt.
