The Toledo women’s basketball team will begin its fourth-consecutive national postseason tournament when the Rockets take on Minnesota in the WBIT first round on today, March 20, at Savage Arena. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. on ESPN+ with radio broadcasts on WCWA 1230 AM and The Varsity Network app.
The Rockets (24-8) will look to win a postseason game for the fourth-consecutive season. Minnesota (20-11) looks to secure its most wins in a season since 2018-19. The winner will move on to face No. 3 seed Missouri State or Oral Roberts on Sunday, March 23, at a site to be determined.

Toledo reached the 2025 MAC Tournament championship game as the No. 2 seed last week, defeating Central Michigan and Buffalo before falling to No. 1 seed Ball State in the finals. Khera Goss and Sammi Mikonowicz were named to the MAC All-Tournament Team.
The No. 2 seed Golden Gophers will play their first game since March 5, when they were defeated by Washington, 79-65, in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.
The Rockets and the Golden Gophers will play in their first all-time meeting.
Toledo will play as the road team while Minnesota will play as the home team as the higher seed.
