The University Women’s Commission will hold its 30th annual awards luncheon Thursday, April 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Savage Arena Joe Grogan Room.
Dr. Patricia Komuniecki, vice provost for graduate studies and dean of the College of Graduate Studies, will be the guest speaker.
Several employees will be honored with the Dr. Alice Skeens Outstanding Woman Award, and three students will receive scholarships.
A light lunch will be served at the event, which will feature door prizes.
All proceeds will go toward the commission’s progress fund and scholarships.
The event is free for University Women’s Commission members; anyone may join the organization at the luncheon for $25.
