International Rockets and International Falcons recently attended a Detroit Pistons game at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit through UToledo’s Center for International Studies and Programs and its Explorer Program. As part of the experience, students were provided a behind-the-scenes tour of the arena and had the opportunity to participate in a shootaround on the court following the game.
The UToledo Explorer program provides monthly opportunities for international students and scholars to engage in social events to learn more about American culture. Past events have included ski trips, outlet mall shopping trips and a visit to the Henry Ford Museum.
