In line with Gov. Mike DeWine’s push to vaccinate Ohio’s college students against COVID-19 before they complete their spring coursework, The University of Toledo is planning to host a student-only mass vaccination clinic.
More information about the clinic, including dates, times and how to register, will be shared directly with students in the coming days.
There will be no out-of-pocket expense for the vaccines, which are provided through the Ohio Department of Health. The University will work to ensure interested students are fully vaccinated before the semester’s end on May 7.
UToledo, in partnership with The University of Toledo Medical Center, has already begun directly vaccinating faculty, staff and students, hosting its first mass vaccination clinic on Thursday, April 1.
A second mass vaccination clinic for students and employees will be held on Monday, April 5.
