The University of Toledo will present the inaugural UToledo Healthcare Symposium on Friday, April 12, at Glass City Center in downtown Toledo.
This year’s symposium is set to be an impactful event focused on improving health through compassionate care, innovative thinking and community collaboration. This event would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, including presenting sponsor Medical Mutual.
The symposium presents an impressive lineup of healthcare and community leaders. A variety of leading experts from across the University’s academic and clinical operations will speak about their work and research that is changing the future and greatly influencing their field.
Additionally, community leaders and esteemed UToledo alumni and guests will join the daylong program to provide unique viewpoints and engaging discussion on the latest advancements as well as challenges impacting the field of health and medicine.
The keynote address will be provided by Dr. Gregory Postel, president of The University of Toledo, accompanied by Steve C. Glass, Medical Mutual president and chief executive officer, and Dr. Manish Oza, executive vice president and chief medical officer at Medical Mutual.
Key topics to be covered during the symposium include:
• Leading-edge advancements in healthcare technology;
• Breakthroughs in medical research and treatment modalities;
• Strategies for enhancing patient care and outcomes;
• Addressing health disparities and promoting health equity; and
• The role of interdisciplinary collaboration in driving healthcare innovation.

The UToledo Healthcare Symposium invites healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, students, policymakers, industry representatives or anyone passionate about driving positive change in healthcare and public health to attend.
