The Toledo women’s track & field team put 10 student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team for the 2024 Indoor Track & Field season, the league announced earlier this week.
Leading the way for the Rockets in the classroom were seniors Krystal Clark and Emily Vining, both of whom have perfect 4.0 cumulative GPAs. Vining, a four-time Academic-All-MAC honoree, is a graduate student studying environmental science. Clark, a media communication major, is a three-time Academic All-MAC honoree.
Graduate student Madeline Vining (3.483 / graduate school-economics) and senior Audrey Witham (3.512 / nursing) are also three-time honorees.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
