The Academic and Student Employment Office is hosting an on-campus summer job fair for students on Tuesday, April 9, in Carlson Library’s first-floor Conference Room.
Scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the job fair is for students looking for summer employment and work-experience opportunities at UToledo and will include representatives from:
The Student Recreation Center: camp counselors, lifeguards, marketing, operations assistants;
IT: help desk, healthcare technical support, Main Campus support, HSC support;
Auxiliary Services: customer service representatives;
Payroll: student receptionist;
Alumni Association: student event staff;
Office of Undergraduate Admission: tour guides;
Office of Accessibility and Disability Resources: student assistants.
“Student employment provides students with different opportunities to integrate into the campus,” said Joshua Vail, student employment specialist. “We have had both students and departments talk with us about employment opportunities during the summer, so we created this job fair to help connect them.
The On-Campus Student Employment Job Fair is the perfect opportunity to showcase the different employment opportunities available to our students.”
It is recommended that students bring copies of their resume to share with the hiring managers during this event. Applicants must still submit official application through Handshake.
