EDITOR’S NOTE: The opening of “Layers,” originally scheduled for Saturday, April 12, has been postponed to Friday, May 2. The exhibition will remain on display during gallery hours through May 31.

Two University of Toledo faculty artists will host an exhibition in the Secor Building in downtown Toledo beginning Saturday, April 12.

“Layers” features mixed-media works by Deb A. Davis, a professor emerita, and Barbara Miner, a professor and chair of the Department of Art. The artists bring different approaches to their works that share inspiration in the resilience of nature, the practice of meditative observation, and scientific processes, human biology and behavior.

The exhibition opens with a reception in the second-floor gallery of the Secor Building, 425 Jefferson Ave., Toledo, from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 12.

It will remain on display during gallery hours through May 18.
