The University of Toledo Business Incubator will be hosting a series of free events, titled “Startup Essentials”, throughout the year.
The educational sessions will feature a variety of industry experts and seasoned entrepreneurs who will provide practical insights and actionable strategies designed to help new and aspiring founders navigate the complexities of starting and growing a business.
The events will be held in the Nitschke Technology Commercialization Complex Coworking Space, and are open to any students, faculty, staff or members of the community who may be interested in starting a business venture or commercializing new product ideas.

• Wednesday, April 19, 8:30 a.m. Startup Essentials: Planning Your Brand
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from our marketing experts as they discuss the strategic elements of branding that need to be considered prior to designing a logo, registering a business name or buying a website domain.
• Thursday, May, 2 p.m. Startup Essentials: Building Brand Assets
A continuation of April’s branding event, this session focuses on the strategy behind building a physical representation of your business mission, vision and core values using logos, colors, fonts, imagery, writing tone and more.
• Thursday, May 25, 8:30 a.m. Startup Essentials: Business Funding
A panel of banking experts will discuss available options, industry best practices and answer audience questions about securing funding for new businesses.
