Graduating students at UToledo are leaving their mark by signing the Career Services “Launching Careers Wall” after taking the First Destination Survey.

The tradition celebrates the first destinations of these students after graduation, showcasing the diverse paths and opportunities students embark on. From landing their dream job to pursuing further education, these graduates are taking the first steps toward their future careers.

Senior history major David Heuring signs the wall in the Career Services office after completing his first destination survey.

Students who complete the First Destination Survey will receive a free alumni mug and are encouraged to share their story by signing the wall. The First Destination Survey assists in gathering employment and graduate school admissions data from new college graduates.

As the academic year comes to a close, UToledo Career Services celebrates the achievements and successes of its graduates. Students, faculty and staff can nominate graduates to the First Destination Success Stories campaign as Career Services begins to feature the incredible first steps our students are making through LinkedIn-featured articles and social media posts.

More information on the First Destination Survey can be found on the Career Services website.
