Spreading Awareness

The University of Toledo Medical Center, in partnership with Life Connection of Ohio, has hosted a variety of activities throughout April in observance of National Donate Life Month including creating chalk art in front of UTMC GI Surgery Center.

National Donate Life Month helps raise awareness about organ, eye and tissue donation and serves to honor those who have saved lives through the gift of donation. UTMC performed a record 200 kidney transplants last year.
