The Main Campus Steam Plant will be shut down to perform necessary maintenance repairs beginning Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 24.
During the repair, hot water on Main Campus will not be available, including to faucets and showers. The building temperatures will be maintained through automation.
Residence halls housing students for the summer will continue to provide hot water through electric water heaters and natural gas water heaters.
In Thompson Student Union, Chick-fil-A will be closed beginning Monday, May 6, and will reopen on Tuesday, May 28, following the Memorial Day holiday. True Burger will be open through Friday, May 24, and then close for the summer.
The Starbucks in the Carlson Library will be open during the repairs.
Student Recreation Center will not have hot water for faucets and showers and pools will not be heated May 6-24.
The repairs were timed to have the least amount of disruption to University activities.
