Junior Sidney Griffith, senior Riley Mohr, and freshman Mady Yackee earned postseason honors from the Mid-American Conference, the league announced on Tuesday. Griffith made First-Team All-MAC, Mohr was selected Second-Team All-MAC, and Yackee was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team.

Griffith, a native of Ashtabula, is receiving her first All-MAC honor. The second baseman has started every game this season and ranks seventh in the MAC with a team-high .381 batting average entering the conference tournament. She connected on a game-high three hits and scored a season-best three runs vs. Kent State (April 6). Mohr is now a two-time All-MAC pick after earning first-team honors in 2023. The Bellevue native has started every game, primarily at first base, and leads UT with a .521 slugging percentage, 32 RBIs and 11 doubles. Mohr connected on a game-high three hits, drove in three runs and stole one base at Bowling Green (March 22), and tied her season high with two doubles vs. Kent State (April 6). A fifth-year senior, Mohr has etched her name on multiple top-10 lists in program history including tied for No. 5 with 95 RBIs, No. 8 with 62 walks and tied for No. 8 with 34 doubles.

A Toledo native, Yackee is the first Rocket to be named to the All-Freshman Team since Aubrey Reed in 2019. In her first Mid-American Conference game, Yackee entered as a reliever at Bowling Green (March 23) and allowed no hits with three strikeouts in two innings to secure the Rockets’ first perfect game on record in a 12-0 (5 inn.) win to sweep the series. She struck out a season-high seven batters in 6.2 innings en route to her first collegiate win at Northern Illinois (April 13) and threw her first complete game three days later in a four-hit shutout vs. Ohio (April 16).

Toledo (25-21, 15-10 MAC) will begin its run in the 2024 MAC Softball Championship as the No. 4 seed and face No. 3 seed Central Michigan on Wednesday, May 8, at noon at Firestone Stadium in Akron.
