College of Medicine and Life Sciences Commencement Ceremony

Dr. Martina Blazevic is hooded during the commencement ceremony by Dr. Laurie Gottwald, a professor of medicine in the College of Medicine and Life Sciences, during the college’s commencement ceremony Friday afternoon in Savage Arena. The College of Medicine and Life Sciences Class of 2025 included 165 students who received medical degrees, 41 students who received master’s degrees and 11 students who received doctoral degrees.

Dr. Reshma Jagsi, an internationally recognized physician-scientist and advocate for equity in medicine who delivered the commencement’s keynote address, was awarded an honorary doctor of science degree from Dr. Imran Ali, dean of the College of Medicine and Life Sciences, and UToledo Interim President Matt Schroeder.
