The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation at The University of Toledo is hosting a one-day Supply Chain and Analytics Summer Camp for high school students in ninth through 12th grade.
The event, which costs $15 to register and includes lunch, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Neff College of Business and Innovation on Main Campus.
By blending theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on activities, the camp aims to provide a comprehensive overview of supply chain and analytics.
Topics covered will range from data management and visualization to predictive analytics and supply chain optimization, including fun and engaging real-world case studies.
It offers a prime opportunity for participants to explore career possibilities in these fields and understand their vital role in business operations.
“Mastering supply chain and business analytics is essential for companies to enhance efficiency, make data-driven decisions and gain a competitive edge in the market,” said Dr. Hao-Wei Chen, assistant professor of supply chain management at The University of Toledo.
“Our summer camp will provide students with the practical skills and insights needed to excel in these critical areas.”
Students also will have the chance to engage with expert faculty from UToledo.
The day will conclude with a tour of the Neff College of Business and Innovation facilities.
