Todd Hendricks Jr., president of Robotic Maintenance Vehicles, will share the story of his innovative construction industry startup during a networking event at The University of Toledo Business Incubator at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30.

The UToledo Business Incubator is one of the leading business startup and entrepreneurial assistance programs in the region, guiding innovative and high-tech ventures from concept to commercialization through access to capital, professional advising, business resources and networking opportunities focused on enhancing collaborations and partnerships.

As part of the incubator’s monthly networking events open to local entrepreneurs, industry professionals and students, faculty and staff, Hendricks will present on Robotic Maintenance Vehicles (RMV), a client of the incubator that won its 2022 Pitch & Pour Competition. RMV developed a vehicle with interchangeable modular components designed to autonomously handle routine tasks with minimal human interaction, significantly improving operational productivity and minimizing risks associated with hazardous work environments.

Its parent company, Pioneer Industrial Systems, founded by UToledo alumnus Todd Hendricks Sr., is a longtime member of the UToledo Family Business Center.

“We are thrilled to highlight the impressive work of the Robotic Maintenance Vehicles team at our incubator,” said Pamela Moore, director of the UToledo Business Incubator. “Their startup exemplifies the kind of groundbreaking technology and entrepreneurial spirit we aim to support and nurture. This event is an excellent platform for connecting with like-minded professionals and exploring the future of construction technology.”
