Toledo Head Men’s Basketball Coach Tod Kowalczyk will lead two summer basketball camps.

The University of Toledo will hold two boys’ basketball day camps for boys entering second- through ninth-grades Monday through Thursday, June 18-21 and July 16-19.

The purpose of the camps is to instruct young players in the fundamentals of the game and help instill in them a love and appreciation for basketball and good sportsmanship.

Every participant can count on a week of playing hard, playing together and improving his basketball skills.

Campers will have the opportunity to play in Savage Arena as well as tour the entire facility. Each camper also will receive a personal evaluation and a basketball handbook.

“We’re very excited to be offering two camps that you will have a ton of fun while also receiving tremendous individual instruction,” Toledo Head Men’s Basketball Coach Tod Kowalczyk said. “We believe that every camper that attends the Toledo Rocket Basketball Camp will leave a better player.”

The fee for the camp is $200. A $40 discount will be provided for those who do two of the following: Attend both camps; have two or more family members attend a camp; or sign up for camp with a group of five or more kids. Full-time UT employees will receive a $20 discount for their sons and can receive an additional $20 discount by fulfilling one of the previous four criteria.
