6 on Women’s Golf Named to Academic All-MAC Team

The University of Toledo women’s golf program placed six student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, the league office announced. The Rockets’ six honorees tied Northern Illinois for the most in the conference and were one shy of their most in program history.

Fifth-year senior Amelia Lee was honored for a fourth time, while seniors Macy Hanus, Angel Hii, Cheryl Hong and Kaitlyn Natividad received the honor for a third time. Junior Yedam Lee was honored for the first time in her collegiate career.

During the 2023-24 academic year, the women’s golf program posted a 3.761 GPA in the fall semester and a 3.740 GPA in the spring semester.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50% of the contests for that particular sport.
