Bancroft Street between North Towerview Drive and North Westwood Avenue is scheduled to close Thursday and Friday, June 14 and 15.
The closure will allow crews to remove the concrete abutment on the south side of the street that supported the railroad bridge that has been taken down, according to Doug Collins, director of grounds and transportation.
The North Towerview Drive entrance to Main Campus will be accessible from Bancroft Street during the closure, Collins added.
If weather cooperates, the road is expected to reopen Saturday, June 16.
