Five student-athletes on the Toledo baseball team have been named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team, the College Sports Communicators recently announced.
Junior Jackson Bergman, senior Caden Konczak, sophomore Charlie Scholvin, redshirt sophomore Troy Sudbrook and sophomore Jacob Tabor were all named to the list. Toledo earned the maximum five selections for a single institution.
Konczak, a team captain, was selected to his third-straight Academic All-District Team, Bergman his second, while Scholvin, Sudbrook and Tabor each collected their first nods.
Konczak and Tabor were each selected to the Academic All-America ballot, which will be announced on Tuesday, July 1.
To qualify, each student-athlete must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Field players must play in 90% or start at least 66% of their team’s games, while pitchers must appear in 17 games or throw at least 35.0 innings.
The Academic All-District selections helped Toledo to team GPAs of 3.345 in the fall and 3.386 in the spring, the 11th- and 12th-straight semesters of over a 3.2 team GPA under Rob Reinstetle.
