Two University of Toledo psychology students will attend a weeklong summer school session in Prague this summer.

Ashley Hall, a graduate student and experimental psychology major, and Taylor Nelson, a senior and psychology major, have been accepted to attend the Summer School on Crime, Law and Psychology for one week in July.

The seminar will include lectures from some of the world’s top teachers and experts on psychology, legal studies, criminology and sociology.

“It is an amazing opportunity to learn and hear from world-renowned teachers and speakers,” Hall said. “I have never been out of the country before, and I am extremely excited to travel and have an opportunity to see Prague.”

Hall and Nelson were selected to attend the program after they completed an online application and an essay describing what the experience would mean to them.

“I am extremely proud of Ashley and Taylor,” Dr. Kamala London-Newton, UT associate professor of psychology, said. “They have a wonderful opportunity to study abroad and represent the University.”
