The Toledo baseball program has a pair of youth camp options available this summer.
The Rockets’ Youth Summer Camps are open to all players ages 5 through 12.
The first Youth Summer Camp is Monday, June 19, through Thursday, June 22, and the second camp will be Monday, July 10, through Thursday, July 13. Both camps will take place at Scott Park and will begin at 10 a.m. each day and conclude at 1 p.m.
Cost to attend one camp is $130 and the cost for both camps is $230. UToledo employees will receive an additional $25 discount when signing up for both camps at the Baseball Youth Camp website.
Toledo’s Youth Summer Camp will focus on fundamental baseball instruction and include hitting, pitching and defensive drills as well as skills competitions with prizes. Campers will need to bring their own glove, bat, helmet and any other addition baseball gear they need to participate in baseball activities.
