The family of Virginia “Ginnie” Gulch will receive visitors Friday, June 17, between 2 and 9 p.m. at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road, Temperance, Mich.
Gulch, executive secretary in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, died June 14 at age 59.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at Memorial Lutheran Church, 3215 Douglas Road, Toledo. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
Gulch worked at the University since 1999. She joined the staff as a secretary in the President’s Office and moved to Student Affairs in 2000.
In April, she was recognized for her exceptional contributions to the UT community by the University Women’s Commission, which honored her with one of its Outstanding Women Awards.

Those wishing to make a donation to purchase a bench in Gulch’s honor may take checks payable to The University of Toledo to University Hall Room 3630 and give it to Lindsay Tuttle or Marcia Culling. The bench with an engraved plaque will be placed in a green space on Main Campus.
