As UToledo’s Sesquicentennial celebration comes to an end, we go back to this aerial photo of the campus from 1967, a milestone year for the University. On July 1, 1967, The University of Toledo joined Ohio’s system of higher education, which provided funding from the state in addition to support from student tuition.
