The University of Toledo included a salary increase for non-bargaining employees in the fiscal year 2025 budget to recognize the dedication of employees.
“Our hard-working team is essential to accomplishing our goals of positioning UToledo as a regional force powering opportunities to learn, care, work and play,” UToledo Interim President Matt Schroeder said. “It will be through working together collaboratively and with a sense of urgency that we will be able to set UToledo apart as a leader in higher education and healthcare.”
Those eligible for the 2% wage increase are members of the Professional Staff Association and faculty who are not part of a bargaining unit. Compensation for UToledo employees who are union members is determined by their collective bargaining agreements.
The wage increase will be effective Sunday, July 14, for full-time and part-time non-union employees who were hired before Jan. 1, 2024, and who have not had any changes to their position that resulted in a salary increase after that date. These employees are in classified exempt, classified salaried and unclassified administrative and professional roles.
