The Toledo women’s golf team placed five individuals on the 2022-23 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team, the organization recently announced. The Rockets’ five honorees marks the sixth-straight year UT has had five or more recipients.

Senior Amelia Lee (Hilliard) was joined by the junior quartet of Macy Hanus (Bowling Green), Angel Hii (Kuching, Malaysia), Cheryl Hong (Kuantan, Malaysia) and Kaitlyn Natividad (Yorkville, Ill.) on the squad. In addition to the Rockets’ selections, incoming transfer Kyleigh Dull was also honored for her athletic and academic performance at Eastern Michigan.

Lee received the prestigious academic honor for a fourth time, while Hanus, Hii, Hong and Natividad were honored for a third time.

A total of 1,401 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized across Divisions I, II and III.  The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA to qualify is 3.50. The candidate must have also played in 50% of the school’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
