UToledo Places 19 on Academic All-MAC Team for Outdoor Season

The University of Toledo placed 19 student-athletes on the 2021-22 Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC squad, the league recently announced.

For the second-straight semester, sophomore Krystal Clark led the Rockets on the Academic All-MAC squad with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Among the honorees, Madeline Barnes (3.521), Jordan Boyer (3.873), Paige Embaugh (3.325), Rayna Horner (3.587), Ava Moran (3.737), Hannah Sponaugle (3.729), Claire Steigerwald (3.259), Sarah-Rose Sullivan (3.995,) Amanda Tremains (3.644), Lou Trois (3.934), Emily (3.928) and Madeline Vining (3.917) and Audrey Witham (3.745) also earned Academic All-MAC honors for the indoor season.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
