The University of Toledo is offering a four-week personal wellness course to all employees devoted to developing healthy habits at home for families.
Hosted via the employee wellness blackboard virtual classroom, the self-paced personal wellness course runs Monday, July 26, through Sunday, Aug. 22, and will cover four main topics:
• Importance of starting healthy habits at home;
• Building the foundation of food;
• Incorporating intentional activity; and
• Stress, sleep and simplicity
For program details and to register by Thursday, July 22, visit the employee wellness website.
“For this Thriving Families course, we are shifting our focus to the entire family unit versus the individual,” said Andrea Masters, employee wellness consultant. “We know from research that when an entire family shares common healthy habits they have a higher success rate.”
Participants who complete the entire course and requirements will be entered in a drawing to win one of 10 healthy family bundles. All UToledo employees are invited to participate.
