U.S. News & World Report has again recognized The University of Toledo Medical Center as a high-performing hospital for its treatment of heart failure.
U.S. News & World Report released its 2024-2025 Best Hospital rankings on Tuesday, July 16, evaluating nearly 5,000 hospitals in more than 30 medical and surgical services.
Ratings are based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and level of nursing care and are relative to other rated hospitals in treating patients 65 years old or older. A high-performing rating for a medical procedure or condition means that a hospital is significantly better than the national average.
U.S. News & World Report has been evaluating hospitals for 35 years, and will publish the latest results in its U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals 2025 Guidebook.”
