White Coat Ceremony for Incoming Medical Students

The event serves to celebrates the students’ entry to medical school and symbolize the privileges and responsibilities they have as physicians-in-training.

This year’s incoming class of 175 students was selected from more than 6,500 applicants from across the country. Students come from 25 different states, though 63% are Ohio residents and 22% are from northwest Ohio.
