Crowds visited The University of Toledo on Sunday to support local artists during the 31st Art on the Mall event hosted by the UToledo Alumni Association.

“It was one of the hottest days of the month, which seems to always land on Art of the Mall,” joked Ansley Abrams-Frederick, director of Alumni Programming. “And yet this was our most successful show since 2019. We had new musical entertainment and more than 110 artists this year, which brought in new attendees and energy that was so rewarding to experience alongside the sponsors, artists, community members and volunteers that made this event possible.”

Presented by Medical Mutual, the event featured the works of artists from around the country in acrylic, glass, pen and ink, oil, mixed media, metals, photography, ceramics and jewelry.

The winners for the 2024 Art on the Mall are:

•  Best of Show, Aya Kang;

•  First Place, Chelsea Hall;

•  Second Place, Eamon King;

•  Third Place, Dave Grabarczyk;

•  Purchase Award, Teresa Petersen.
