The University of Toledo College of Law will host the fourth annual Junior Scholars Virtual Colloquium Friday, Aug. 12.

First organized by Jessica Kiser, a professor at Gonzaga University School of Law, the colloquium connects a broad range of junior legal scholars from across the country, using Google technology for sharing works-in-progress and discussing them in real time.

This year, UT Assistant Law Professor Agnieszka McPeak will facilitate the conference. Participants will include scholars from the University of Idaho College of Law, the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, Stetson University College of Law, the University of Mississippi School of Law and Barry University School of Law.

“I had the pleasure of participating in last year’s Junior Scholars Virtual Colloquium and it was a great experience. Not only did I connect with other junior scholars, I received invaluable feedback on my draft article,” McPeak said. “The virtual format made the event fun and convenient for the participants.”
