Semester parking permits for students will be available for purchase beginning Friday, Aug. 12, in the ParkUToledo parking portal.
Student permits are $133 per semester, with the option to purchase a fall/spring semester permit for $266. Daily and monthly permits also are available for purchase in the parking portal.
Students can pay for parking permits by credit card or electronic check.
From Aug. 20-28, ParkUToledo will not be enforcing campus parking permits as students move into their residence halls; however, all other violations — parking in reserved, disabled, metered, patient and no overnight parking areas — will be enforced. Vehicles must be parked in lined spaces or a marked 15-minute parking zone.
Regular permit enforcement hours will resume on Monday, Aug. 29.
As a reminder to students:
• Your license plate serves as your permit. If you change vehicles, update your plate information in the parking portal.
• Only park in spaces designated for your specific permit; each parking area has signs indicating which permits are valid.
• Park with your license plate facing the drive aisle. If you don’t have a front license plate, you can’t pull through or back into a parking space.
• All vehicles must be parked in a lined parking space.
• Spaces marked with gold/yellow markings are reserved for faculty and staff “A” permits.
• Spaces marked with green markings are reserved for patient parking.
• Family, friends and additional visitors can park in most areas by using the ParkMobile App. Hourly parking also is available for purchase at metered spots.
Parking permits for faculty and staff for the 2022-23 academic year are available now. An “A” annual permit is $259 for the upcoming academic year and “A” semester permit is available for $86.
For those enrolled in payroll deduction for an annual permit, no action is required to renew your permit for the upcoming year. For employees and affiliates who purchased an annual permit by credit card, the 2021-22 permits expired Friday, Aug. 5.
Permits for 2022-23 also are available for purchase in the ParkUToledo parking portal for first-time buyers and for employees and affiliates renewing an existing permit.
