The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership’s Campus Involvement Fair is the first opportunity of the academic year to engage with student organizations, campus departments and local campus partners, and to learn about additional employment or even volunteer-based opportunities.

The Campus Involvement Fair runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, at Centennial Mall. During the Campus Involvement Fair, we will have mini yoga classes, peddle carts with the UToledo Police Department and free ice cream from ParkUToledo.

New this year is the Mini Involvement Fair series that will be taking place throughout the first weeks of fall semester. The Mini Involvement Fair series is a smaller, more specialized version of the Campus Involvement Fair, and will provide students a more intimate experience, tailored to a specific interest that they are looking for.

The Mini Involvement Fair dates:

•  Wednesday, Aug. 30 – Academic and professional organizations;

•  Tuesday, Sept. 5 – Cultural and ethnic organizations;

•  Wednesday, Sept. 6 – Fraternities and sororities;

•  Tuesday, Sept. 12 – Club sports;

•  Wednesday, Sept. 13 – Religious and spiritual organizations;

•  Tuesday, Sept. 19 – Service organizations; and

•  Wednesday, Sept. 20 – General interest organizations.

The fair is one of many scheduled events to celebrate the launch of fall semester, Monday, Aug. 28. For a complete list of events and activities to kick off the school year and that are planned throughout fall semester, visit the Welcome Weeks website.
