The University of Toledo’s choral ensembles are looking for students who love to sing.

Auditions for UToledo Chamber Singers will be held on Monday, Aug. 30, and Tuesday, Aug. 31. Visit the Calendly website to sign up for auditions that will last 10 minutes and test range, tonal ability and sight-reading.

The Chamber Singers is a select group singing more advanced choral repertoire. They sing several concerts throughout the year. Rehearsals are from 2:30 to 3:25 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The UToledo University Chorus is open to all singers on campus and typically holds one concert each semester. The choir sings a wide variety of music from a cappella works to spirituals, show tunes and lighter songs. Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:45 to 6:40 p.m.

“Singing builds confidence and reduces stress, and students who sing in choirs typically get better grades,” said David Hahn, director of choral activities. “Please consider joining us.”

For more information, please visit the UToledo ensembles website or email Hahn at david.hahn@utoledo.edu.
