The flag-raising ceremony kicked off Rocket Week and its events leading up to the Rockets’ first home football game of the season, “The Biggest Party in Toledo,” at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, when Toledo hosts Texas Southern at Glass Bowl Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to wear their Toledo gear or school colors (Midnight Blue and Gold) in support of the Rockets throughout Rocket Week — especially on Rocket Thursday — and to share their Toledo pride on social media by using the hashtags #RocketWeek and #TeamToledo.
