The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation’s graduate programs recently celebrated its new class of international students with a welcome event to help launch their academic journey as new Rockets and to foster a sense of belonging and support.
The new business students were greeted by members of the University’s leadership team, which included Dr. Scott Molitor, the new interim provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, and Dr. Anne L. Balazs, dean of the Neff College of Business and Innovation.
Speakers from the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS) and UToledo’s Student Career Services also shared valuable insights into resources available to Rocket students.
“We deeply appreciate our international graduate students, and their presence enriches our academic community in countless ways,” said Dr. Bashar Gammoh, associate dean of graduate programs and research in the Neff College.
“We are excited to see them flourish at UToledo and contribute their unique perspectives to our vibrant learning environment. This event marked the beginning of a journey filled with opportunities for growth, and we are committed to supporting our students every step of the way.”
Graduate students from 22 nations worldwide are currently enrolled in the Neff College of Business and Innovation master’s degree programs.
