More than 100 companies are participating in the John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation’s Fall 2023 Job Fair on Thursday, Sept. 28, in Savage Arena.

Scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the networking and hiring event is expected to draw more than 400 business students, with local and national company recruiters searching for internship and full-time employment candidates in a variety of fields and industries.

Companies set to attend include Dana Inc., Ernst & Young, FedEx, Fifth Third Bank, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Hilti, KeyBank, Owens Corning, Rocket Companies, Savage and Associates and many others.

“The Job Fair is a critical steppingstone for our students to launch their careers,” said Dr. Terribeth Gordon-Moore, senior associate dean for Undergraduate Programs and Administration in the Neff College of Business and Innovation. “It’s a platform where they can connect with a diverse range of companies, gain exposure to various industries and explore exciting opportunities.

“This event plays a pivotal role in shaping their professional journeys, helping them transition from the classroom to the corporate world with confidence and competence.”

The Neff College hosts biannual job fairs in fall and spring semesters to provide business students with the chance to connect with prospective employers and begin their careers.

More than 85% of UToledo business students participate in at least one internship during their time at the University.
