University Holds Drill to Test Response to Active Aggressor

The University of Toledo held a tabletop exercise from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 29, to test the University’s response to an active aggressor that results in multiple casualties.

Similar to other training exercises the University has conducted, the announced drill tested first responders’ communication, response and scene management. Participants in the drill included the UToledo Police Department, University of Toledo Medical Center Security and UTMC emergency department staff, among others.
