As the colder weather quickly approaches, generous donations of clothes and housewares are needed for our fellow Rockets.
On Thursday, Oct. 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Thompson Student Union Trimble Lounge, The Office of Multicultural Student Success, Center for International Studies and Programs and the new Center for Advocacy and Student Experience will host a Thrifting in Trimble event for students to “shop” for free items.
“I am so grateful that we are able to support students in tangible ways,” said Aleiah Jones, associate director of OMSS. “We are excited to expand our efforts for the event by accepting and providing housewares for students, which we know is a critical need.”
New or gently used clean items can be dropped off in Student Union Room 2518 during business hours. Or, if you would like to drive to the Student Union and have someone retrieve donations from your car, please call 419-530-HELP (4357) to schedule a drop-off.
