Poet, UToledo Alumnus to Read From Newly Published Book Oct. 11

The Department of English Language and Literature is hosting a reading from UToledo alumnus Dr. Adam J. Gellings, a poet and instructor from Columbus, Wednesday, Oct. 11, in Carlson Library Room 1005.

The event is scheduled at 4 p.m., with a book signing to follow.

Gellings’ debut book of poems, “Little Palace,” was published by SFA Press, and his poems have appeared in numerous journals and magazines including New South, Salamander, The Saint Ann’s Review and Willow Springs.

Gellings received his bachelor’s in fine arts from UToledo in 2011, his master’s in fine arts from Ashland University and his Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he was the recipient of a fellowship from the Marion Clayton Link Endowment.
