The University of Toledo Board of Trustees Chair Patrick J. Kenney today announced the selection of Education Executives to assist the Board in its national search for the University’s next president. Education Executives specializes in the identification and recruitment of senior leaders for comprehensive research universities and academic medical centers.
“The Board of Trustees respects the important role The University of Toledo plays in our community and the importance of ensuring we look nationally for the best leader to advance our public research university and academic medical center missions,” Kenney said. “We were impressed with Education Executives’ experience in presidential searches, and we are confident they will guide us in attracting outstanding individuals for consideration and assist us with our efforts to engage University stakeholders — faculty, staff, students, alumni, donors and community members — to best inform the Board in its search and selection of The University of Toledo’s 19th president.”
The Board’s goal is to have UToledo’s next permanent president identified and in place prior to the start of next academic year.
A presidential search website utoledo.edu/presidential-search has been created to provide updates throughout the search process. Updates about process and committees associated with the search will be posted on that site as appropriate.
Nominations for the position should be sent to utoledo.president@edexsearch.com.
