Rocket fans have an opportunity to see a Toledo bow tie on display during the Detroit Tigers’ appearance in the 2012 World Series.

UT partnered last year with Bow Tie Cause, an organization that designed and produced the men’s basketball bow ties for its Tie One On 2012 event. The organization has a partnership with Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal, and Rosenthal wore bow ties throughout the 2012 major-league season and sported the Rockets’ tie from last year’s event.

Bow Tie Cause thought it would be best to leave it up to their partners and the people that support their organizations to tell Rosenthal which bow ties he should wear during the World Series.

Therefore, the organization has launched the Bow Tie Challenge with the competition going until noon Monday, Oct. 22.

The first World Series game will be played Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Vote on Facebook by “liking” the UT bow tie.

The top four “like” getters are guaranteed to have Ken Rosenthal wear their bow tie during the World Series. If the series goes more than four games, Bow Tie Cause will adjust accordingly and will include the next “like” getters in order up to game seven.
