nw-cure-logoThe Beta Alpha Psi professional accounting organization in the UT College of Business and Innovation will sponsor its first pizza fundraiser to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure Northwest Ohio Tuesday, Oct. 26.

Jo-Jo’s Original Pizzeria, 4336 Monroe St., Toledo, will donate 25 percent of all sales that day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. when customers mention either Beta Alpha Psi or Race for the Cure. Purchases of alcohol or half-price specialty items do not apply.

“Our Beta Alpha Psi Board thought Susan G. Komen was a great cause, and they have been very appreciative of modest contributions we previously made, so we wanted to do something else to support their important work,” said Ben Blaesing, Beta Alpha Psi’s co-fundraising chair.

Hungry UT students who want to join a group of Beta Alpha Psi members who plan to go to Jo-Jo’s can meet in Rocket Hall at 3:30 p.m. that day or contact Blaesing at 419.779.4022.
