A bird’s nest built under the eave and on top of an a exterior spotlight at the entrance to the Wolfe Pharmacy Center on The University of Toledo Health Science Campus began to smolder and set off fire alarms Friday night.

The building was evacuated, and UT Police and Toledo fire crews responded quickly to remove the nest and the smoke.

The building has reopened, but the south entrance will be closed until repair work can be done around the eave.

The Wolfe Pharmacy Center is connected to the Health Science Building, where the smoke was originally reported to be coming from.
