In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, The University of Toledo is extending its restriction on nonessential University-sponsored travel through the end of the spring semester.

This includes both domestic and international travel.

Any exceptions must be approved by the University president, provost or vice president of finance and administration.

Previously the University had suspended nonessential sponsored travel through Dec. 31.

The University continues to strongly encourage all faculty, staff and students to avoid out-of-state and international personal travel. Those who do travel out of state are encouraged to voluntarily register their travel plans.

Additionally, at the recommendation of Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health, the University continues to ask any individuals who have traveled from or through a state on Ohio’s COVID-19 Travel Advisory list to quarantine for 14 days. This protocol applies to students, staff and faculty.
