The Center for International Studies and Programs is inviting UToledo faculty and staff and current University of Toledo international students and scholars to share in a cross-cultural experience for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving Day is Thursday, Nov. 24. American families can open their homes to share a meal with international students on Nov. 24, or on another date that they will host a Thanksgiving dinner.
“This program has been very successful during the previous years,” said Xinren Yu, assistant director for the Center for International Studies and Programs. “It is a great opportunity to learn about different cultures and we wish more families could get involved and have this experience.”
Host families are asked to register online at the CISP application webpage by the Friday, Nov. 18, deadline.
International students or scholars who would like to join an American family for this holiday celebration, should complete the online International Guest Application on the CISP webpage.
