Joyce Kilpatrick, with TackBox, a northwest Ohio start-up that developed a digital marketplace for equine show vendors and competitors, pitches her technology to a panel of judges Thursday evening at the UToledo Business Incubator’s annual Pitch & Pour. Five regional entrepreneurs competed and Kilpatrick won the first prize and $10,000 in business funding.

Five regional entrepreneurs competed and Kilpatrick won the first prize and $10,000 in business funding.

The second-place prize of $5,000 in business funding went to Dr. Kemi Azeez with NEEZ21, and the third-place prize of $2,500 in business funding went to Melinda Alic with The Koolpad.
